A drop in puppy births has put the wiry-haired Irish terrier on Crufts' list
of “vulnerable native breeds” despite its bravery in the trenches.

associations informed The Telegraph that numbers had decreased
Over 60% of British puppies are the 10 most popular breeds,
including the French bulldog and cockapoo.
